Dilation and curettage (D&C)

A D&C (Dilation and Curettage) is a surgical procedure that is designed to treat certain uterine conditions, such as abnormal bleeding, or to remove tissue from the uterus such as clearing out the uterus, after a miscarriage.

The surgery usually takes between 15 and 30 minutes and is often done as an outpatient. Dr. Levy performs D&C procedures at his New York City-based practice and provides excellent care to his patients in safe and comfortable surroundings.
