Colposcopy

During a colposcopy, a special magnifying tool called a colposcope is used to get a closer look at these areas, which helps to identify any abnormalities, and if needed, a tiny piece of tissue (biopsy) might be taken for additional testing. The procedure is pretty quick and normally only takes between 10 to 20 minutes.
