Labiaplasty

This surgery is done to reshape or alter the size of the labia minora and/or labia majora for cosmetic or functional purposes, as well as to improve hygiene and reduce discomfort.

Women may undergo this surgery for cosmetic reasons if they feel self-conscious about the appearance of their genital area, or it can also be done to alleviate discomfort from chafing, irritation, or pain during physical activities or intercourse.
